aMios was founded by alumni of the national theatre conservatory. the duties required to make aMios a living and necessary part of the new york theatre scene include playwriting, producing, directing, designing, fundraising, stage handing, prop buying, space renting, set building, light focusing, poster making, and ticket tearing… we are all of us in our hearts, creators and this is our theatre.

to constantly create new work; work that engages the artists in process that is immediate, inspired, personal, organic, and which injects vitality into this scene we call “theatre. “

over the last year and a half we have developed over 80 short plays through sHotz and 6 half hour plays through the NYCycle. This has yielded incredible results, and the environment in which we create and show the plays is always electric and vital.
